But Norris delighted the fans with a determined drive from 17th on the grid to fifth. It was the shock of the weekend for fans of the Woking outfit! However, there was one special fan whose birthday was elevated to the skies by Lando Norris and Mclaren’s heartfelt gesture.

A young Papaya army member, Milo, was spotted by the F1 camera crew during the weekend. He was holding up an adorable sign, calling himself Norris’ number-one fan. Since his birthday happened to be on race day, Milo expressed his one wish was to meet his idol and take a picture! Fans all around were hoping McLaren would make this a dream come true, and boy! – they did deliver.

So it’s no wonder that the Mexican GP tickets are an expensive affair, especially if you’re looking to get the full experience. Mclaren tweeted a picture of Norris alongside Milo, holding the sign he had written so lovingly. Which was followed by a video showing Milo eagerly waiting for Norris and bursting into tears before Norris had even arrived. Such was his passion for the Brit! The Papaya army couldn’t handle the emotions, and the tears started falling one by one.
