One major drawback of being as successful and famous as Lewis Hamilton is that you can’t just go in public without being swamped by fans and media. However, that has rarely stopped Lewis from enjoying his life when he’s not racing. He uses his unique sense of fashion to often dress up in a way that allows him to blend in with his surroundings.
However, it seems like this time around his move to go undercover didn’t pay off. The hoodie look may have worked for him before, but fans have caught on now!

Back in 2016, during his championship brawl with his then-teammate Nico Rosberg, Hamilton took a break from the racing to explore New York City. He later shared a photo on social media dressed casually in a hoodie, jeans, and colorful sneakers, waiting for a train at the Houston Street station in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village district.

That’s not the only time the Mercedes driver has done this though. In 2023, he went to Donington Park to support his younger brother, Nicolas Hamilton, who was competing in the British Touring Car Championships. Lewis again went incognito, donning a black hooded coat and covering his face to avoid being recognized.
