The FIA Compliance Department launched an investigation into potential breaches of interest involving her and her husband, Toto Wolff, the Team Principal and CEO of the Mercedes F1 team. She emphasized that the focus should be on her abilities rather than her who she’s married to.

Although it’s not a time that Susie Wolff would be thinking about celebrating her birthday amid such allegations, the official Instagram account of F1 Academy posted a birthday wish for Susie, saying, “Happy Birthday Susie! Wishing you a wonderful day.🎉“

However, this gesture did not sit well with F1 fans, especially those supporting Mercedes, who were displeased with how Susie’s day had been tarnished. Furious fans stormed the comment section, expressing their disappointment towards the FIA for launching the breach of interest investigation.
