The former Haas man, Mick Schumacher, walked away from the grid as the season of 2022 came to an end. Disheartened with the way things ended at Haas, the young German was lost in terms of figuring his way forward in the game. However, as a saving grace, came a role in play for the German lad. Walking in his legendary father, Michael Schumacher‘s footsteps, Mick Schumacher has now joined forces with Mercedes. The German boy will be filling the role of the reserve driver at the Silver Arrows from the season of 2023.

“I’ve always felt very close to Mercedes, not only because of the history with my family, but also just because of F3 and the time that I got to spend here when I was younger, and yeah, just the relationship that I have with Toto as well,” he added.
