For someone who has been on top of Formula 1 for as long as Lewis Hamilton has, money is no object. The seven-time world champion, with his salaries and endorsements, is worth a whopping $285 million. The Brit often showcases that with his luxurious lifestyle as well. One big aspect of this lifestyle entails living in ultra-luxurious houses across the globe. However, probably one too many were the case because of which the Mercedes man let go of his New York penthouse. Although selling off the desirable property wasn’t a problem, as Hamilton’s old penthouse was snatched up by Jennifer Gates.

Jennifer Gates is the daughter of Bill Gates and his ex-wife, Melinda French Gates. The Microsoft heiress, equestrian, and medical school student recently became a mother. The billionaire’s daughter gave birth to a baby girl with an Olympic equestrian husband, Nayel Nassar. Her father bought her eldest daughter a $5 million apartment on 1212 Fifth Ave.

Now that she has a child and a husband, Jennifer has got another apartment with a considerable upgrade. According to the New York Post, she is now living in the $51 million Tribeca triplex penthouse. The 8,900-square-foot pad was bought via a Seattle-based trust connected to Gates.

Hamilton sold the same penthouse to a different Seattle-based trust in November 2021 for $49.5 million. The apartment was part of Hamilton’s $130 million real estate empire. However, Hamilton never moved into his penthouse, which he bought for $43.99 million in 2017.
