In a very recent interview with GQ Sports, the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen, got up close and personal as he answered a bunch of fan questions.

Max Verstappen did a super fun segment with the reputable GQ Sports. The Red Bull man participated in the interactive segment where he went undercover and commented on various fan questions pertaining to him.

The world champion, Max Verstappen, surfed through platforms like Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, Quora, and his personal favorite- TikTok, to name a few.

As the Dutchman perused through the questions, he picked a few lucky ones that he respond to. One such question that he picked was from Twitter. A fan questioned if it was a tradition to buy his family something when he wins a race as he bought his sister a handbag after his first win.

To this Max responded, saying, “It was actually when I scored my first points. It’s not like if I win something then I buy something. But whenever they need something really important, I will always be there for my family.” 

Although he does not buy gifts for his every win anymore, he has definitely reached a compromise by assuring his family that he will be there for them whenever required.

The Red Bull star also delved into various other topics, as he continued to scroll through the fan questions.

A Verstappen fan questioned what makes Max so good when he’s racing on a wet track.’
The world champion, without skipping a beat, owed it to practice, as practicing regularly was paramount in order to master your skills on a wet track.

Looking back at his childhood, he said, “Practice. Growing up in Belgium and Holland, it rains a lot. So we never turned around when it suddenly started raining. We would put the rain tyres on and we would go out and practice. And that just helps a lot you know? You get a lot more understanding of what you have to do when it rains.”
