Red Bull is not just dominating Formula 1 on the track. They are also dominating the headlines with everything that’s going on behind the scenes. Mere days after the conclusion of the 23-day investigation against Christian Horner for allegations of inappropriate behavior towards a female employee, from which he was cleared, the spotlight has now landed on Helmut Marko. Red Bull GmbH has launched a new investigation against Dr. Marko for supposedly leaking private documents related to Horner’s case. With a possible suspension for Dr. Marko on the horizon, Max Verstappen, who remains loyal to the Red Bull advisor, could leave the team if Marko were to depart. However, Christian Horner has denied any tension in the team surrounding the Dutchman.

Despite Verstappen’s contract extending until 2028, rumors are circulating, suggesting he might leave at the end of the year due to internal divisions and controversies within Red Bull. The saga started when Max Verstappen’s father, Jos, added fuel to the fire by calling for Horner’s resignation after he was cleared of any wrongdoings. This has led to speculations about a strained relationship between Horner and Verstappen that threatens the stability of the squad.
