The Christian Horner “inappropriate behavior” saga seems to be never-ending with the FIA adding another twist to the tale. The governing body issued a statement addressing the controversy. Why? Well, as per reports, the disgruntled and suspended female employee has lodged an official complaint about his behavior with Formula 1’s governing body. However, the governing body has issued a statement to stop all media houses from rushing to the FIA’s door for comment.

The complaint was lodged after Red Bull’s investigation deemed Horner not guilty and dismissed her complaint. The female employee also put in a request to reconsider. However, after Red Bull’s non-compliance, she filed a complaint with the FIA Ethics and Compliance. Soon after this information became public, the FIA issued a statement expressing how their lips would remain sealed until they had substantial information to share.

“Enquiries and complaints are received and managed by the compliance officer, and the ethics committee where appropriate. Both bodies operate autonomously, guaranteeing strict confidentiality throughout the process,” read the statement. “As a consequence, and in general, we are unable to confirm the receipt of any specific complaint and it is unlikely that we will be able to provide further comment on the complaints that we may receive from any parties,” it further highlighted.

This saga continues with little to no public information and a lot of ambiguity surrounding the investigation as the Red Bull camp continues to maintain secrecy, which, many say. can be dangerous. However, Horner is insistent on his innocence and wants to nip the whole thing in the bud.

The Brit has been surrounded by this controversy since the start of this year. His accusations came to light in the first week of February. However, as per reports, investigation into his alleged behavior started a month before that. However, after the almost 10-week investigation clearing him of all allegations, Horner wants to move on.

After the Saudi Arabian GP, he said, “The reality is that there was a grievance raised, it was dealt with in the most professional manner by the group, that appointed an independent KC, one of the most reputable in the land. He took time to investigate all the facts. He looked at everything and he came to a conclusion where he dismissed the grievance. As far as I’m concerned, as far as Red Bull is concerned, we move on.”
