Romain Grosjean, the man who escaped one of the most dangerous accidents in the history of F1 unscathed, will not drive next season. Haas F1 announced earlier last year that both their drivers, Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean, will not drive for the team in 2021.
The Frenchman made his debut for Renault in 2009. He has claimed 10 podiums, starting off with the Bahrain Grand Prix in 2012. Grosjean joined Haas in 2016 and has since failed to clinch a podium finish.

As a part of the podium ritual, the drivers on the podium celebrate their race by popping a bottle of champagne each. In 2018, Formula 1 welcomed Carbon as the new official supplier of champagne.
Romain Grosjean recently took to Twitter to post a picture of himself enjoying a bottle of Carbon champagne; however, he wished he could’ve taste it on a podium.

The Frenchman had a heart-stopping incident during the starting lap of the Bahrain Grand Prix. He crashed his rear with Daniil Kvyat‘s car as Grosjean lost control and darted into the barriers at a dangerous speed.
The car burst into a fireball immediately upon the crash. Romain’s car was split in two, and the driver pod somehow shot through the barriers and got stuck as the fire took over. He was in the fire for about thirty seconds before he freed himself and jumped out of the fireball.

The FIA flew Grosjean to the military hospital, where the team announced that he escaped the crash with minor burns. However, the burns were severe enough to devoid him of his last two races as a Haas driver. He has since been on a road to recovery as he spends some time with his family.
Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin will replace Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen in Haas next season. The team will hope that the young and hungry driver’s line-up will help them improve and climb the standings next season.
