Sebastian Vettel is arguably one of the best drivers Formula 1 has ever seen. The four-time world champion peaked with Red Bull and like every other Formula 1 driver, he loves cars. As a guest on Jeremy Clarkson’s Top Gear show, he revealed the first car he had.

The German started his Formula 1 career with BMW Sauber back in 2006. Well, coincidently, his first car was a BMW and while revealing it, he hilariously roasted Clarkson on his show a few years back. “The first one I had was a BMW X3”, to which Clarkson joked, “Oh ghastly.”

Vettel added, “It was not so bad, the only difficulty was to park,” to which Jeremy, like he always does joked, “And it looked like genital wart, and it couldn’t go off-road, is horrible the X3.”

The champion, however, was in no intention of backing out and stated, “It was quite cool. You know, I was 18, it was quite cool.” Unfortunately, Clarkson was having none of it. “Only like having the herpes,” he hysterically revealed.

Vettel had the comeback in his mind, ready to unleash, when he asked what Clarkson’s first car was. As he replied it was a Ford Cortina 1600 E, the Aston Martin man said, “No herpes, I guess. Because you know it wasn’t really bling, so you were not pulling the chicks.”

The four-time world champion has certainly got the banter and charisma in him. The BMW X3 is, however, only the start of his iconic car collection.

Like Clarkson hinted, the car is certainly huge, with an ample amount of space. This compact 2006 model SUV costs around $36,800 and has all the qualities a compact executive car should have – great acceleration and power, superior handling, and refined design.
