Sebastian Vettel Names the One Thing That Was Worse Than Ferrari’s Form in 2020

Sebastian Vettel finally said goodbye to Ferrari after a horrendous year. The German spent six years with the Maranello team, but could not realize his dream of winning a championship with them.
Sebastian Vettel is moving on to Aston Martin next season. He will join Lance Stroll as Racing Point rebrands themselves as Aston Martin. In an interview, Sebastian Vettel was asked to compare the Coronavirus pandemic and his last year with Ferrari, and he gave his verdict on which was worse.
He said, “I think you can’t compare the two things. The pandemic has certainly shocked us all more than last season with Ferrari.”

“Above all, the global issue is not off the table and yet it is all straining us more because our freedoms are increasingly restricted. In addition to Corona, sport really plays a subordinate role,” he further added.
Sebastian Vettel discusses the effects of the pandemic
The Formula 1 season was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. At one point, it seemed like we might not have a season this year., before the FIA and other stakeholders worked to ensure a season for their fans from within a bio-bubble.

Vettel was asked how many times did he have to get tested within the bubble. He pointed out, “Since the start of the season in July, I’d say every three days. Then we come to around 60 tests. Fortunately, always negative.”

Vettel was further asked about the pain that was caused by his loyalty towards Ferrari.
He explained, “When you’ve been driving in a team for six years, there are always things that are good or not good. We go through the crisis together. That is normal. I was part of it in the highs as well as in the lows. Pain threshold is perhaps a little exaggerated.”

Over the course of the recently concluded season, Ferrari didn’t make it difficult for Vettel to move on. Vettel would certainly like to leave the season behind and focus on the next one.
Racing Point’s performance this season will increase his hopes of fighting for podiums once again.
