Sebastian Vettel put in his laps for pre-season testing in Bahrain as he prepares for the 2021 season with his new team. However, the four-time world champion still thinks he needs time to adjust to his new machinery.
The German spent six years behind the wheel of a Ferrari and now with a new team, he might need time to settle in with Silverstone based team and get used to the AMR21.
In his debut season for Aston Martin, the 33-year-old will drive alongside Lance Stroll. The talented drivers hope to perform their best and take the team to the next level in the upcoming championship.

Sebastian Vettel needs to be patient while getting to know his new car
The German said, “We still have to learn a lot about the car, as far as the setup is concerned. But you can’t do everything in just three days of testing. The others are in a similar position.”

The Aston Martin team will have a Merćedes power unit for 2021. Vettel gave his impression of the engine and how can it help them in their hunt for the title.
The 33-year-old said, “That’s mostly for me to get up to speed. But obviously, in terms of performance, everybody knows the strength of the Mercedes engine, so on that front, we don’t have an excuse. I’m looking forward to it.”
Vettel hopes to redeem himself in the upcoming season. In 2020, the German only scored 33 points, which saw him finish 13th in the driver’s championship.
