The car was very interesting in the approach which was taken concerning livery design. Their title sponsor Mission Winnow was featured on the rear wing per usual in black stenciling. But, the color of the MW logo on the engine cover was a very green look.

In a video posted on Ferrari’s social media, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc were asked to give their thoughts on the new car. Leclerc gave his thoughts on the car saying, “I love it, I love it. I like the car, I like the color. The color looks a little more dark compared to last season.”

He also spoke about the different shade of red near the back of the car. Sainz mentioned the hint of green on the car in the form of the MW.

He said, “We didn’t expect the green. We didn’t see it one week ago.” Leclerc agreed and said, ” It was a last-minute change. But I have to say I’m getting used to it, seeing it in the car.”

Can the SF21 return the team to the top in 2021?

Ferrari have been very optimistic that whatever changes they’ve incorporated will see them succeed in 2021. They have gone for a heavy emphasis of streamlining the posterior of the car.

The Italian team have looked at the new aerodynamic regulations and felt that tweaking the rear of the car would give them that advantage of using the downforce generated to their disadvantage.

They have also redesigned the power unit and are hopeful that it performs reliably. The Pracncing Horses have also brought in Sainz to give them that extra edge on the track.

How Sainz adapts and how Ferrari looks in the race conditions will go a long way towards giving them success in 2021.
