Lewis Hamilton told ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ the little things that make him, him. Hamilton shared that even though he is a racer, he drives rather slow on public roads. He delved into how competitive he is with any activity or game that he participates in.

Speaking of competition, Lewis was questioned- what speeding on the track feels like? To this, the Briton said that it feels like a ‘real trip.’ He explained that with everything travelling so fast around you, you feel like you’re going at the speed of light.

He further added, “You know when you watch Star Wars and you see the speed of the spaceship? But you’re able to slow it down in your mind—where you want to turn, where you want to brake. That’s the mind of a racing driver.”

All the outer space reference got Lewis to indulge in some wishful thinking. Lewis said, “I’d love to go to space.”

“I just watched The Martian. I really want to go to Mars. But it’s not a return trip. Well, no, but…”

“I was thinking I could take a hot chick with me and we could just start a family up there,” he concluded.
