Haas boss Guenther Steiner is a divisive figure among fans when it comes to his appearances on Netflix’s popular F1 docuseries Drive to Survive. The 57-year-old does not hold back when expressing his opinions on any subject in the series. When the situation calls for the use of a cuss word, Steiner will use it, and when the situation does not call for one, even then he’ll pull one out. In previous seasons, we saw him go out for a trek on snow-capped mountains. This time around, he paired up with out-of-favor Ferrari boss, Mattia Binotto, for a car ride.

Despite starting out strongly in 2022, Ferrari saw another season turn into disappointment owing to bad strategy calls. Showing blistering pace and winning 2 races from the first three fixtures, the Prancing Horse gave the Tifosi hopes of a possible resurgence. However, the way the rest of the season went on, it turned out to be another disappointment. Resultantly, Binotto lost his position in the team after the conclusion of the campaign.

While Guenther is already a divisive figure among F1 fans, Mattia turned into one in 2022. While some fans believe he should have been allowed to stay for the sake of stability, others felt his split from the team was justified given how little progress the team has made since he took over.

As Netflix gave a glimpse of the upcoming 5th season with some pictures, the duo appeared together, having a laugh in a car. The surprise pairing did not evoke a positive response from the fans, as some vowed to even skip the whole episode altogether.

Some fans recalled the popular series with comedian Jerry Seinfeld called the Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The format of the show involved Jerry taking out one comedian in each episode in the car and discussing comedy on their way to get coffee.

F1 fans obviously got a little creative with the title.

Watching Steiner and Binotto for some reason is the biggest nightmare for some, apparently. No prizes for guessing whether they’ll watch the episode.
