Valtteri Bottas Unveils Special Helmet for Brazilian GP & It’s the Most Typical Design from Mercedes F1 Driver
Two things come to mind when an average person thinks of Formula One, dangerously fast cars and lots of sponsors. Naturally, drivers don’t get a lot of opportunities to express themselves through their body or apparel except for one thing; their helmet. Ahead of the race in Brazil, Valtteri Bottas revealed his helmet.
In a video posted by the Mercedes driver on Twitter, he explains his thought process and messaging for his Brazil Grand Prix unique helmet design.
Brazil is the world’s largest exporter of coffee beans, so the Finn took the opportunity of paying tribute to the country while expressing his love for coffee.

So, Valtteri Bottas may have a thing or two to say when he gets behind a falling Mercedes car in Brazil. He’s had a mix set of results, with a win in 2017, a P5 in 2018 and a DNF in 2019 at Interlagos. But this year, the stakes are as high as they can be.
The necessity of a great race, and by great it means a 1-2 finish great, cannot be overstated for Mercedes. Both Mercedes and Bottas will hope to get all the coffee energy (and porridge) to at least finish both cars on the podium.
