Amna Al Qubaisi, daughter of Khaled Al Qubaisi, is a promising young racing talent and the first female Formula Racing driver arriving on the grand stage from the UAE. However, she has been involved in the world of motor racing for almost a decade now. She entered the world of motorsport in 2014 like most inexperienced drivers do with karting at 14. She went on to take part in various karting championships like the Rotax Max Challenge World Finals, X30 Euro Series, and Italian X30 Championships, securing impressive results.

In 2018, she took a significant step forward in her racing career by joining the Italian F4 championship with the PREMA Powerteam. After Italian F4, she participated in Formula 4 UAE, Formula 3 Asian, Formula Regional European Championship, and most lately, in the F1 Academy season in 2023. She finished 6th in the standings while claiming two victories and two podiums along the way. This year, she will return for her second season at the F1 Academy.

According to the Red Bull Academy Programme Manager, Sarah Harrington Amna and her sisters are a fine addition to their program, and they represent Red Bull’s commitment to fostering the growth of women in motorsport. Sander Dorsman, Team Principal at MP Motorsport, also expressed excitement about retaining the services of the three Emirati sisters. With the experience of an effective first season, Dorsman aims to secure the team’s title this year.

With all the good things happening with RB, Amna Al Qubaisi has a lot to gain from the team, from the likes of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda behind the scenes. However, Racing Bulls have a point to prove themselves.
