Many F1 fans know that Carlos Sainz Jr and Lando Norris became best friends during their McLaren tenure together. However, it seems that they underestimated how deep their bond is. During a driver-fan virtual meet-up featuring the McLaren drivers, there was an awkward moment.
Apparently, Norris momentarily forgot that he and Sainz were no longer teammates. Luckily, he managed to catch himself before he could embarrass himself and Daniel Ricciardo. However, the fan caught the slip-up and called him out on it. Surprisingly, Ricciardo forgave the Briton for his faux pas.

Luckily for the Australian driver, the season is still a bit long. So there is plenty of time for him to catch up to his teammate and put up a better fight. However, it appears that Norris holds all the cards and is quicker than his more experienced teammate. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz is enjoying a decent season at Scuderia Ferrari.
