The Australian admitted that the Sainz-Norris friendship was ‘little more than a friendship’. The fans clarified that it was a ‘bromance’ between the British youngster and the Spaniard. Now, Norris will have to forge a new partnership with the experienced Ricciardo. Though the Norris-Sainz friendship will likely transcend inter-team barriers.

Luckily for the Australian driver, the season is still a bit long. So there is plenty of time for him to catch up to his teammate and put up a better fight. However, it appears that Norris holds all the cards and is quicker than his more experienced teammate. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz is enjoying a decent season at Scuderia Ferrari. The Spaniard has been able to keep up with Charles Leclerc and make him sweat on occasion.

He has also acted as a steady backup for when Leclerc falters or makes a mistake. At the same time, when the two of them are on track together, Sainz keeps Leclerc on his toes.
