Formula One drivers are expected to be mature adults and role models for the younger generation. However, McLaren Formula One driver Lando Norris has quickly proven that he is a terrible role model. The popular F1 star is well-known for streaming videogames on the platform, Twitch.

Unfortunately for him, a recent stream highlighted the dangers of addiction to videogames. Apparently, he had been streaming so much that he forgot that his food had been left in the oven for nearly an hour. After the brainwave, he quickly ended the stream and bolted to the kitchen.

The food’s fate was left unknown, so nobody knew if he managed to rescue it or whether it burned to a crisp.

The 20-year old even revealed that his use of social media is primarily to reach out and engage fans. He wanted to offer the fans a glimpse of life in F1, especially from a Formula One driver’s perspective.

Interestingly, Lando Norris is not the only F1 driver who streams on Twitch. As it turns out, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen is also an avid streamer and the two sometime compete against each other.
