In a video on Aston Martin’s YouTube channel, the British team showcased the budding chemistry between Vettel and Stroll in the lead-up to the launch of the AMR21 on March 3.

The clip featured the duo asking each other how they’re doing away from the paddock. Both were very happy during the replies and were very positive.

They also practiced the removal of the British flag, which was covering the car while filming the launch video. During the various takes, they were able to pull off this simple act. But, at the end of one of the takes, Vettel was hilariously tangled in the flag after he removed it with Stroll.

This prompted laughs among everyone present on set. It provided a funny moment and gave a bit of brevity to the serious filming of the launch.

Can the German get back to his absolute best in 2021?

The 33-year-old will make his official debut for the Silverstone-based team in preseason testing on March 12. Seeing him in the British racing green overalls in testing will be jarring for a lot of fans after his tenures with Ferrari and Red Bull.

He will be looking to bounce back from a horror final two seasons with Ferrari, which saw him spin himself out of contention in a few races when he was in great positions. Vettel first needs to overcome this mental block in clutch situations which will go a long way in determining his success.

He will also enter an environment that could be conducive to him doing well. It could be a throwback to his championship-winning days at Red Bull.
