“You Can’t Name an Overrated Driver” – Max Verstappen

In layman terms, somebody who is overrated is a person whose abilities are overhyped, only to underwhelm on the big stage. The same is true for Formula One drivers, who enter the sport as the next big thing, but fail to deliver. However, Max Verstappen believes that no driver deserves to be labelled as ‘overrated’.
Recently, the Formula One official Twitter channel uploaded a video. Over there, several drivers played a word association game based on motorsport. Max Verstappen was given the word ‘overestimated’, and for the first time, he was stumped.
When Verstappen hears his word, the doubt is clearly visible: “Overrated, that is a really tricky one. You cannot name a driver, I don’t know what to choose.”

What else did Max Verstappen say?
Clearly, this was a hugely difficult question as nobody likes to say that a driver is overrated. However, a few had an easier time naming the likes of DRS as overrated.
On a more positive note, when the word ‘underrated’ popped up on screen, quite a few people named Nico Hulkenberg. The German driver is no longer racing in Formula One after he lost his 2020 seat to Esteban Ocon. He bowed out of F1 with no podiums and one pole position to his name. Despite the statistics, many acknowledged that he was an excellent driver.

The god news is that he and his contemporaries do not have to wait long for F1 to kick off. Formula One is finally back on the 5th of July. To make matters even better, the F1 2020 game is also releasing two days later, to double the excitement.
