The German driver is regarded as a top-tier driver on the grid. However, it is not just his driving skills that the Formula One community adores, it’s also his personality. Szafnauer has revealed the joy engineers get while working with the four-time world champion.
Speaking to Motorsport Week as quoted by Motorsport.com, Szafnauer said, “Seb was really great. He’s a very honest guy, he works hard, he has a great work ethic and he leaves no stone unturned in trying to solve problems. Engineers love working with him, mechanics love him, he’s a very sincere person. This is also very important in life.”

A disappointing year for Vettel at Aston Martin
The German driver was hoping to redeem himself at the British team after a lackluster final year at Ferrari. However, Vettel failed to make the impact he was hoping for in his new team. One highlight of his 2021 campaign was when we scored a podium at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix by crossing the line in second place.
With the season completed, Sebastian could only manage to bag 43 points and find himself twelfth in the driver’s standings. As he gets ready to tackle the challenges that await him next season, Vettel is hoping to bounce back from the disappointing season he endured, and take the Silverstone-based team to the next level.
