Fortnite to Emulate Roblox and Minecraft With Creative Mode in 2021

Back in 2017, Epic Games took the internet by storm when it released Fortnite. To say the least, the game revolutionized the Battle Royale genre by introducing aspects like ‘buildings’, and maintaining a complex storyline as well. Fortnite eventually broke every record of popularity and developed into a brand itself by facilitating huge collaborations inside and outside of gaming.
Even though Fortnite is still one of the biggest games in the world, it has certainly witnessed a steady decline in its user base recently. However, it seems Epic Games has already figured out a way to make the game evergreen.
In a recent post, the developing team informed the community regarding Fortnite’s roadmap for 2021. The post explains a bunch of new game modes that the developers wish to introduce soon.

Fortnite expects the community to make the best out of Creative mode
Fortnite introduced its creative mode on December 13, 2018. Ever since, the players in the community have come up with a plethora of mind-boggling ideas. The developers now plan to bring these ideas as separate genres of gaming within Fortnite itself.

Creative mode will now offer the best modding tools, owing to which users will be able to alter even the smallest details while building their island. Furthermore, Epic Games had recently announced the arrival of Unreal Engine 5 customization tools in Fortnite in 2021. Hence, it is safe to assume that the players will soon have endless methods of creating games at their disposal.
