Many weapons in Call of Duty Warzone have left players unimpressed. While players are having fun with the improved movement mechanics and overall battle royale experience, there are certain guns that players aren’t thrilled about. To know which ones, we have to look back at last year’s installment, Modern Warfare II.

MWII’s performance has always been a mixed affair. Throughout its one-year cycle, consisting of six seasons, MWII faced heavy criticism for multiple reasons. One of them was also regarding the weapon options. Now, it seems like the same issue has carried over to latest version of Warzone.

Call of Duty players are not happy with Modern Warfare II guns existing in Warzone

The current Warzone (Warzone 3) is part of the ongoing premium installment Modern Warfare 3. Despite being its own standalone game, it also features various aspects of its predecessor. Thanks to the Carry Forward system, players coming from MWII can continue to use items in MW3 that they acquired previously.

However, the department of weapons in Modern Warfare II is something not every player has been a fan of. Recently, a lot of users have complained about how bad guns from last year’s COD are performing, especially in the new Warzone. Somehow, they are not hitting targets as expected during battle royale matches as opposed to MW3’s Multiplayer.

This problem was clearly highlighted by a Reddit user recently on the social platform. The disappointed Redditor wrote in their post that devs should “remove MWII guns completely” from Warzone.

The player mentioned that it doesn’t make sense for MWII guns to be in the loot pool. According to the users, these weapons have “terrible visual recoil” and their “mobility is trash.” Plus, they also stated that all the guns from last year’s installment are outclassed by MW3’s collection by a mile.

All things considered, players who are upset with this issue will have to be patient. They will need to wait for the devs to address this problem and acknowledge it to further work on introducing effective solutions. Raven Software, responsible for handling all things Warzone, will need to look at this matter.

In the meantime, those fans can engage in Multiplayer or Modern Warfare Zombies. There seems to be no serious issue in these two modes when it comes to overall gunplay and bullet hit registration. Hopefully, these two experiences will keep them distracted from Warzone unless it ends up receiving a fix in relation to MWII weapons.
