To answer that question, we have come up with a list of ideas that we think can be implemented into GTA 6 Online for the ultimate experience. Knowing that Rockstar Games is trying to keep GTA 6 in lifne with current cultural trends, here is our idea of what the new GTA Online should include.

The setting of GTA 6 Online

GTA 6’s trailer has become a cultural phenomenon. The trailer showed a bunch of moments eerily similar to a lot of viral real-life moments like the naked man running away from the police, Miami Joker, a woman twerking atop a car and so on. The game takes players to a modern version of Vice City compared to what players saw in the Vice City game.

Just like in GTA Vice City, players got to experience the neon-colored, c*caine-fueled, Mafia-run city. Rockstar Games can make the game feel like it is up to date with our time. This can be implemented by showing real-life news on the in-game TV.

GTA 5 introduced stocks and with GTA 6, we can expect the same. Although the stocks option is inactive in GTA Online, the new version of the game can implement a running stock market that can be linked to real-world markets. There have been rumors about Rockstar Games introducing their own Crypto-currency in the game. Having a stock and crypto market can help regulate the money in the game.

Lifelike Technology

Rockstar Games has also shown the use of a TikTok-like app in the trailer. This gives us reasons to believe that GTA 6 will be set in the 2020s, probably even the current year. Considering this, the developers can provide many interesting features in the game that can be inspired by real-life technology.

Rockstar Games already has a mobile-compatible app. Rockstar can integrate the GTA 6 mobile into players’ real phones by making improvements in the Social Club’s iFruit app. This will give players a second-life-immersive feeling as they receive GTA 6 chats in real-time on their phones.

A feature to use some of our phone apps from within GTA 6 Online also seems like a good idea. The thought of being able to order a real pizza from within GTA Online alone seems futuristic enough to want within the game.

GTA Online already builds upon the idea of AI trying to take over the world in one of its missions. The function of having an AI assistant like Siri or Cortana for mobile phones would be a great addition to the game.

For GTA 6 Online, they can take things a step ahead by introducing Fortnite-style concerts within the GTA Universes. Players have already seen Dr.Dre and Anderson Paak make their way into the GTA Online universe.

Considering this, introducing more popular figures into GTA 6 Online will give players a feeling of real people in the game even though they are NPCs, instead of looking at generic repetitive character models in the game.

Music is one of the main reasons fans connect with the series. There is nothing like listening to your favorite tunes while driving in a stolen car around Los Santos. Rockstar can take things to the next level by introducing real-life radio stations within the new GTA Online.

Team Play Mechanics

So far, we have only seen a gist of what will be coming in GTA 6 within its trailer. If GTA Online adapts with the new game, players can expect an MMO-styled gameplay. What Rockstar Games can do to enhance the experience is take things to the next level by introducing guilds.

While currently, players can form a motorcycle club to band with friends, the proper team-forming systems are missing. Introducing a proper feature for teams will help solo players interact with players during their time online instead of being left against the odds.

Lastly, the best thing the Rockstar Games can do for GTA 6 Online is create a good environment for players. A multiplayer game is only as good as its players. No one wants to log into a game only to get spawn killed over and over until they need to leave the lobby. The developers can make extra efforts to ensure the game is safe from cheaters and hackers trying to disrupt other players’ experiences.

With this said, these points are just some intriguing ideas that come to mind while waiting for GTA 6 to release. It is still uncertain what Rockstar Games has planned for GTA Online once their new title releases. One thing we know is that if Rockstar Games changes the base game for GTA Online, there will be some significant changes with some wild improvements to the entire experience.
