Two-time champion Andy Murray has opened up on chances of lifting his third Wimbledon title this year.
Persistent injuries and illness have been the bane for the Scot in the recent past, but he hopes to turn a corner soon with more matches under his belt.

In an interview for Amazon Prime Video, the three-time Grand Slam champion said that his immediate focus is working on achieving peak and staying healthy and injury-free on Tour.
On how he rates his chances going into the grass court swing, Murray said that while he concedes that it will be “extremely tough” to lift the title at Wimbledon again, he believes that it’s “genuinely possible”.

“I want to be on the courts at Wimbledon, feeling like I have a chance of winning the event,” said Murray, who is currently ranked 119th in singles.
The 33-year-old Scot has received a wildcard entry into the upcoming Miami Open and with the ‘Big Three’ – a nickname for Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic – leading a host of top players pulling out this year, Murray hopes to string some wins together and build from there.
Barely days ahead of this year’s Australian Open, Murray came down with Covid-19 and eventually withdrew from the tournament after failing to reach a common ground with the organizers on quarantine arrangements.

Murray played the Rotterdam Open but crashed out early after losing his round-of-16 tie to eventual champion Andrey Rublev. The Scot took a break thereafter to be with his wife Kim Sears, who gave birth to their fourth child.

However, rested and refreshed, he is now itching to return to the swing of things in Miami and put himself in contention for the title.
The Scot returned to Grand Slam action at last year’s US Open but bowed out in the second round after losing to rising Canadian star Felix Auger-Aliassime.
