Cameron Smith and six more are leaving PGA Tour. The shocking news is ready to shake the golf world again. Founded in 1929, the PGA Tour organizes the main professional golf tours which are played by men in the United States and North America. Whereas LIV Golf is a professional golf tour that is funded by the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia. These two tours have been cut throat rivals, and the situation has taken a new turn now.

Shocking news is all set to whirl the golf world again. The rivalry of the PGA Tour and LIV Golf is at an all time high. And the proof is this latest tweet. There is suspicion of 7 players from the PGA Tour switching to LIV Golf.

LIV Golf was founded in 2016 and is funded by Saudi Arabia’s Sovereign Fund. This funding gave LIV the edge and the golden opportunity to grab good players. LIV offered more money and benefits than the PGA Tour, and that caused the PGA Tour to lose many good players to LIV Golf.

Recently Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy joined hands to come up with an initiative, TGL, in hopes of providing some standing to the PGA Tour. Also, PGA Tour is maximizing benefits for its players so they stick around. But after this shocking news, will PGA be able to repair the damage?
