Currently with $13,623,540 in earnings for the 2022-23 season, Rahm needs just under $400,000 more to surpass Scheffler’s record of $14 million set last year. With five months remaining in the season, it’s almost certain that Rahm will break the record and cement his place in golfing history.

Rahm’s impressive season has not gone unnoticed, as fellow PGA Tour pro Michael S Kim took to Twitter to call him “literally the best golfer in the world.

And with Rahm currently holding the top spot on both the FedEx and OWGR rankings, it’s a title that’s hard to argue against.

It’s not just about the money for Rahm. After winning the 87th Masters and donning the iconic green jacket, the Spanish golfer is hungry for more. He’s already won four out of 11 events played this season and finished in the top 10 in seven others. And with five months remaining, there’s no telling what other records he could break.
