Bryson posted a lengthy note about the honest reason for his absence from the PGA Tour events on his Instagram. He captioned the post, “Thank you everyone for your continued support.”

According to the post, DeChambeau would miss the Genesis Invitational that will begin this week. The golfer explained that since his hip and hand injuries still need time to recover, he would not be able to attend the PGA event.
Bryson also added that many false rumors are spreading about him, and it is untrue. He further stated that he or his team would directly inform the fans regarding his health and schedules. DeChambeau ended the note with, “I look forward to getting healthy and seeing everyone soon.”
