Rahm, 28, has set the bar really high for all his competitors after his recent victory at the Masters Tournament. The golf star, who claimed to be the best player in the world in a recent interview, has no lack of confidence in his skills. In fact, it’s only been a few days since he won the mega event but is back on the field at the RBC Heritage Tournament to play some of his best shots.

Other than his incomparable swinging abilities, the golf ace has been in the headlines for several other reasons as well. And not just fans, but even professional athletes including tennis legend Rafael Nadal have been extremely supportive of the player. And ahead of all this support stands a humble, down-to-earth man, who doesn’t just have a beautiful record on the leaderboard, but also at winning hearts.

In a recent video shared by the PGA Tour, Rahm could be seen interacting with a special fan, Jimmy Williams, who is also on his way to becoming a professional golfer one day. With only 16% heart function, 10-year-old Williams managed to reach the third place at the World Championships in Orlando. However, now that he is healthy, he got to meet his favorite golfer, Rahm, and show him a book that he wrote.

“You wrote a book already? Jeez”, Rahm’s instant reaction to looking at the book was enough to show how much he appreciated the boy and his efforts. “Thank you, perfect”, the golfer added. “I’m guessing it’s about your stories. Thank you! Thank you very much. Have a great day and enjoy.”

Fans react to Jon Rahm’s kindness

The video got thousands of likes and comments from the golf community, which it clearly deserves. After all, not everyone has a personality as pure as the world no. 1. In fact, fans couldn’t hold back from sending in all kinds of appreciative comments about the player’s actions towards the young man. Some even acknowledged the fact that this could only happen due to Rahm’s decision to play in the RBC Heritage tournament. Here’s what some of them had to say:

“That’s why you don’t WD. Great stuff by Rahm.”

“Rahm is just awesome”
