Despite Living Away From Each Other, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren ‘Were on the Same Page’ When it Came to Looking After Their Children During the Grueling Lockdown Period

Tiger Woods is one of the most successful golfers of all time. However, his involvement in unpleasant incidents has pulled him from reciprocating the same success in his personal life. Following some bitter truths in his life, Woods and Swedish model Elin Nordegren divorced each other in 2010. However, despite the strained relationship, the two have made sure to not let it affect the lives of their children.

Following the divorce, the two opted for joint custody of their children, Sam Alexis Woods, and Charlie Axel Woods.

Walking down memory lane, in 2020, the world struggled to fight against the deadly COVID-19 pandemic. In times like those, it was Woods and Nordegren that made sure to be on the same page to care for their children.

The pandemic was a nightmare for many. The whole world was packed inside their homes around the globe. Similar was the case with Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren.

The 15-time major champion winner reportedly spent his lockdown at his ravishing Florida mansion with his girlfriend Eric Herman. On the other hand, Nordegren also spent her lockdown in her Florida mansion she bought in 2011 for $12.25 million. Having both parents in the same state, the children split their time between the two homes.

In an interview with ‘People’ back then, a source close to Woods and Nordegren said, “They’re taking this seriously. They’re totally on the same page.”

As mentioned earlier, despite the divorce, the two made sure not to let the split affect their children. Something, that the source confirmed further. “They’ve always been really good at communicating about things involving the kids, and this is no exception,” he said.

Talking about the time during the COVID-19 pandemic, the source ended by saying, “Their number one priority is to keep the entire family safe and to help stop the spread.”

Born in 2007, Sam Alexis Woods is now 15-years-old. On the other hand, born in 2009, their son Charlie Axel Woods is now 13-years-old. Walking in the same shoes as in his father, Charlie is steadily heading to become a golf pro. Last year, he participated in the PNC Championship with Tiger Woods, finishing as a runner-up.
