Donald Trump is all set to hit the tee shot in the upcoming LIV Golf event with celebrities too getting involved in the Pro-Am event. Most of us are already aware of how much the Former President is fond of Golf. With him headlining the event in New Jersey, we take a look at what the handicap of Donald Trump is.

Trump will take part in the pro-am competition on Thursday on the Saudi-backed Golf tour. Along with LIV Golf players Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau, he will also be teamed with his son Eric.

The pro-am won’t be played in front of people and won’t be broadcast anywhere. However, many will be curious to see how well the 45th president of the United States performs on one of his 16 courses. Let’s take a brief look at how good Donald Trump is at golf after all.

What is the handicap of Donald Trump?

A player’s handicap can be used to measure how “good” they are. Players with a “highhandicap will be given more additional strokes over the course par. Players with a “low” handicap are anticipated to use fewer extra strokes to complete the course.

Being played golf for several years in the past, Trump’s handicap shouldn’t be that bad. In fact, it isn’t. According to Golf Digest, Trump has a handicap of 2.8, which indicates that based on his greatest scores, he could potentially play a game of golf at 2.8 strokes over par. He can shoot low since his best round of golf, as indicated by his handicap index, was a 70.

The 76-year-old billionaire’s low handicap depicts how good of a golfer he is. Moreover, 18-time Major Champion Jack Nicklaus once called Trump “the best player”. However, some reports suggest that the recorded rounds date back to 2009.
