Rory McIlroy has not had a very good year, but that doesn’t mean 2023 could be termed as an ideal season for the golfer. He was not able to make the cut at the Players and the Masters, which surely added a dent to his growth this year. His season so far has included four Top 10 PGA Tour finishes, the 2023 Hero Dubai Desert Classic, and the 2023 CJ CUP in South Carolina. However, the prime form of the PGA Tour Star is more dominant than these wins.

There is no doubt about the exceptional skills and rare talent that McIlroy possesses. Though, in recent times, the 34-year-old golfer has faced some struggles with ball striking. He even received advice from Tiger Woods regarding the same. This also led the professional to try out new measures, including the use of tools that can upgrade his dexterity.

Cause you can do the entire move with.” The new training aid sure seems to add to the swing of the golfer. The device is relatively new in the golf world and not many professionals are seen using it. Initially, Justin Rose was also seen using the inflatable ball. As per the instructions, it can be hooked around the neck at a comfortable length, and helps provide a connected feeling between the body and forearms.

This is not the first time Rory has been spotted with a unique golf apparatus. Before the Memorial Tournament, the 2014 PGA Champion had ProSendr training equipment on his hand and wrist. According to Golf Digest, the player was all praises for the new aid, which helped create a good structure. Despite the golfer’s usage of the training aids, fans chimed in with their own opinions regarding the bizarre routine!

Fans react to McIlroy’s unfamiliar golf training aid

While Rory McIlroy, as per the video, had a positive opinion regarding the device, the same could not be said for golf fans. Many of them couldn’t recognize the unfamiliar tool. One of the golf enthusiasts clearly called out the golfer and said, “Rory the gadget man, or is he getting paid for showing them off at the range?” The bizarreness of the aid completely seemed to have taken this Twitter handle off-guard and hence the question.

While on the other side, the majority of the fans choose to react through the pathway of humor –
