Golf World Reacts to Bryson DeChambeau’s ‘Half-Hearted’ Commitment to the PGA Tour

The news that every golf fan all over the globe was waiting for is finally here. Bryson DeChambeau has broken his silence. The professional was yet to speak whether he plans to stay or move from the PGA Tour. Yesterday, the Mad Scientist stated on his Twitter account concerning the same.

Is Bryson DeChambeau joining the Saudi Golf League?

The Mad Scientist, who is a one-time major championship winner and famous for long-hitting, intent to stay. In his statement he wrote:

“While there has been a lot of speculation surrounding my support for another tour, I want to make it very clear that as long as the best players in the world are playing the PGA Tour, so will I.”

The golf fans all over the world had mixed reactions about Bryson staying with the PGA Tour. Nonetheless, it is a sigh of relief for the golfing fans as well as for Bryson himself.

What was the supposed offer given to Bryson DeChambeau?

The Saudi Golf League emerged as a supposed rival tour to the PGA Tour as well as, to the DP World Tour. Saudi Golf League supposedly offered Bryson DeChambeau a sum of a whopping $135 million to become the face of the Saudi Golf League. However, as soon as the news broke, Bryson denied all the allegations.

Moreover, the PGA Tour has made it very clear, that if any professionals join the Saudi Golf League, the professionals will serve a suspension from the PGA Tour. The suspension can likely be turned into a lifetime ban from playing on the PGA Tour as well.
