Charley Hull ended a nearly three-year title drought at the 2025 Kroger Queen City Championship. Fresh off her $300,000 triumph at the 2025 Kroger Queen City Championship, the English star walked into a surprise celebration: a room filled with heart-shaped balloons, flowers, and rose petals. Sharing it with fans on Instagram, Hull captioned the moment simply—“he’s a keeper,” highlighting her boyfriend’s thoughtful gesture. The intimate celebration showcased a side of Hull that is beyond the competitiveness and the prizes.

Well, Hull had hinted at a personal celebration waiting for her off the course. She mentioned plans in London with close friends and a special someone, keeping details private. The golfer’s focus on meaningful moments reflected what mattered most beyond trophies and prize money. Fans could sense that this win would be celebrated in a uniquely heartfelt way.

Hull’s win is also an emotional story. Hull overcame nearly three years without a title, pushing through a string of injuries that included fainting episodes, a torn ankle ligament, and a back muscle tear earlier this season. She used that forced downtime to reset mentally, balancing rest with focused preparation to avoid overtraining. Runner-up finishes at the AIG Women’s Open and the Aramco Houston Championship hinted that her form was returning, but Ohio confirmed it—Hull was back.

Her resilience on the course mirrored the support she now values off it. While she has kept her current boyfriend’s identity private, beyond that tender post-victory surprise, Hull has gradually let fans glimpse more of her relationship. She has spoken openly about how her partner helps her reset mentally, even weaving him into her on-course mindset. At The Annika driven by Gainbridge in November 2024, she admitted to making a lighthearted bet with him — every five birdies she made earned them an extra holiday day together.  On social media, she has described him as someone who “treats me like a princess.” Their bond first became public in late 2024.

Interestingly, it’s a marked contrast to her past relationships—Hull married MMA fighter Ozzie Smith in 2019 before divorcing in 2021, later dated footballer Lee Tomlin, and was linked to TV personality Gary “Gaz” Beadle. Now, Hull seems intent on privacy, preferring love and support over the spotlight.

She owns 41 career top-10s and more than 100 top-25s on the LPGA Tour. So, this latest win not only ended her drought but also reinforced her standing as one of golf’s most resilient stars.

But Hull’s triumph wasn’t just about breaking her own drought—it also highlighted her sportsmanship in the aftermath of Jeeno Thitikul’s costly stumble.

Charley Hull sets sights on Lotte Championship after Queen City win

Shortly after her dramatic win at Queen City, Charley Hull sent a gracious message to Jeeno Thitikul—her rival who stumbled spectacularly on the final hole. In an Instagram post she wrote: “Was fun going head-to-head with Jeeno – a class act and kept me chasing till the very end.” That seven-word nod drew praise, because instead of crowing over her win, Hull acknowledged Thitikul’s fight and character—showing that the way she wins matters just as much as winning itself.

The final round at TPC River’s Bend in Hamilton, Ohio, was a nail-biting affair. Thitikul, holding a one-shot lead over Hull, reached the par-5 18th green in two shots, leaving her a 50-foot eagle putt. After running her eagle attempt five feet past the hole, she faced a birdie putt that she burned past the lip. To force a playoff, Thitikul needed to make a four-foot par putt, but she pushed it wide, resulting in a shocking four-putt bogey.

Well, now with a win to affirm this season, Hull will be eyeing the Lotte Championship in Hoakalei Country Club, to be held from Oct 1-4. But will this win mean another is son coming at the Lotte Championship? Let us know waht you think below
