Sir Nick Faldo makes a massive announcement

Golf great, Sir Nick Faldo, who had been hosting for CBS Sports for 16 years, retired from the channel last year. To announce his decision to retire, Faldo called for a meeting at Pebble Beach involving CBS Chairman Sean McManus. And he was left shocked at what Faldo had to say. “I was surprised and a little sad about it, to be honest with you,” McManus said. “Nick’s been a powerful force for CBS Sports for 16 years. But I respected his decision.”

However, after his official retirement on June 21, fans were majorly missing the renowned commentator. And to cheer his fans once again, Faldo is back with a major declaration on Twitter. The golf legend recently posted a video sharing the big news.

“I am very honored to have some very exciting news. Next year, the Betfred British Masters will be hosted by yours truly; Sir Nick Faldo,” he said. “It will be played at The Belfry, I’ve got lots of fun, happy memories there from the great Ryder Cup days. I’ll be hosting it for the next 5 years.”

Faldo’s return to the commentary panel is nothing less than a pleasant surprise for fans worldwide. People are in love with the way the television commentator hosts a tournament.
