Nelly Korda’s precise ethnicity

Korda‘s parents are two unbelievably talented sports personalities from Czechoslovakia. According to the People, “Korda’s parents are Czechoslovakian; Petr was born in Prague, and Regina was born in Havlickuv Brod.” After the couple retired from their sport, they gained US citizenship and raised their three children there.

Her father, Petr Korda, has been playing and winning since he was a junior; he gave Czechoslovakia several wins and the title of Grand Slam honor. Her father once reached the peak and was announced to be the World No. 2 tennis player.

Korda’s mother, Regina Rajchrtová, too, is a famous tennis player who hails from Czechoslovakia. Although she does not have as much achievement as her husband, but she was also a great player. Rajchrtová has two singles and three doubles titles to her name. However, she is an Olympian who participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. Given that both of her parents are from Czechoslovakia and only later moved to America, it is quite evident that Korda’s ethnicity is Czechoslovakian.
