Nonetheless, Jon Rahm respectfully responded by claiming ‘It’s my job’. The golfer had already shared in the press conference about competing in the RBC Heritage for the sake of his fans. After talking about his admiration towards the fans, the 2023 Masters winner also disclosed his mentality against his fellow golfers. “As a competitor, I’m not ducking anything in that sense”, said Jon Rahm. “I’m going to go out and try to shoot low”. While his devotion towards his fans may have been depicted through his words after the second round, Rahm’s presence at the RBC Heritage itself has been considered commendable by the fans.

While being tied to the 18th position ahead of the third round, Rahm is gradually getting closer to the leader, Jimmy Walker.
