The Golf Yeti is finally back, and as it turns out, he plans to stay put. After making his competitive golf comeback at LIV Golf Jeddah, Anthony Kim has now revealed that he plans on continuing and participating in the coming events of the LIV Golf calendar this year.

It appears that his next stop is going to be Hong Kong and then potentially the Blue Monster. In a conversation post his “rebirth” event performance, Kim revealed he is “looking forward to working on [himself] and being in contention this year.”

More so, the 38-year-old also did not deny questions surrounding his plans for the Hong Kong event, leading to plausible implications for his presence at the event. His take on his performance was, “I’ve got a lot to work on.”  

Moreover, an official nod to this has been given by LIV Golf itself. A sweep search through their website would reveal the new wild card’s presence on Friday, March 8th, at the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling, Hong Kong. If Kim manages to win here, he will earn the winner’s cut of $4 million from the money assigned towards the individual title.

But before the star takes this next big step, what is his reasoning for a rather “rusty” performance at his initial event after a 12-year hiatus?

However, despite not being able to score his finest score at Jeddah, all Anthony Kim sees in this new reality that he has to confront is potential. Keeping one’s cool and remaining optimistic are two keys to an excellent golfing career, and as it turns out, the long-lost gem has no problems doing exactly that.

His exact words were, “Obviously disappointed with the score, but I played much better than the score. I’ve got a lot to build on. I just made a lot of unforced errors, and that was unfortunate, but I feel like I’m not that far away.”
