The two teams will take each other on in just a couple of weeks in a chase for ultimate glory at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club. But the mind games have already started here at Wentworth, England, as the European team took this chance to put their foot down all the while provoking their opponents albeit unknowingly in the tournament.

The squad saw all 12 of its members making the cut at the BMW PGA Championship. A tweet was uploaded on social media by Flushing It as it pointed out the team’s achievement while alluding to the “epic weekend” that is set to be held in Surrey.

The three weeks of European golf have seen a great start with the Donald-led team making the weekend rounds. Moreover, the eyes of the community will tend to focus on the 4X winner Rory McIlroy, defending champion Shane Lowry, and the FedEx Cup champ Viktor Hovland, all of whom are part of the upcoming prestigious event. One thing is for sure – such an accomplishment would indubitably be indicated as a threat to the USA which is gearing up to face the strong team.

The tournament at Surrey will act as the final pitstop for the European compatriots before the international battle. It is taking place just two weeks before the Ryder Cup and seventy years after the prestigious event in 1953, which saw the teams duking it out at Wentworth. But what’s more eye-catching was the star-studded line-up at the curtain raiser event on Wednesday.

The pre-event Pro-Am showed off an extremely famous line-up which included the likes of Gareth Bale, Tom Holland, Start Broad, James Anderson, Harry Brook, and Sir Andrew Strauss. The stars took to the course in a bid to engage in a game of golf with the professionals.

Although the Spiderman-No Way Home actor missed some of his putts, he remained calm despite the disappointment on his face. Nevertheless, it did not stop him from trying out some wide-range shots on the course, which to the surprise of the community, turned out much better.
