Nelly Korda WITB 2024: Exploring the LPGA Star’s Golf Bag

Nelly Korda clinched another victory at the 2023 Drive-On Championship, ending her 14-month winless drought. She had defeated Lydia Ko on the second hole of the playoff to make it happen! After her win, Korda took a small break, during which she missed the entire Asian Swing. She spent time with her family and her sister’s baby boy.

Now, after a 2-month hiatus, she will tee up at the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship on March 21. With her will return her powerful arsenal that has helped her on the competitive greens! Let’s dive deeper for a look at the golf bag that she has prepared for the season!

What TaylorMade equipment does Nelly Korda prefer?

The American golfer is sponsored by TaylorMade; hence, her bag is mostly well-equipped with the brand’s production. For the best outcome, she uses a TaylorMade Qi10 Max Driver with a 10° Mitsubishi Diamana GT 60 S shaft. This driver is popular in the golf industry due to its head shape and extraordinary forgiveness. Interestingly, the LPGA star earlier used to use the TaylorMade Stealth 2 HD driver.

Korda uses TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway woods, carrying a 3-wood and a 7-wood. The former offers a loft 15 degrees and the latter of 21 degrees. She pairs them up with Fujikura Ventus Black 7 S and Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw Blue 7 S shaft respectively.

Korda keeps a PING G425 hybrid alongside a Fujikura Ventus Blue HB 7 S shaft and a loft of 26 degrees, which allows her to go perfectly and hit those accurate long tee shots. However, there are a few more preferred equipment that has found their place in the 1x major champion’s bag.

Does the LPGA star rely on TaylorMade for her irons and wedges?

Korda prefers to keep a mixed set when it comes to her irons; she has a TaylorMade P770 5-iron and P7MCs with 6-PW Aerotech Steelfiber i80cw shafts. Her irons offer her the control she requires to hit the balls accurately. When it comes to the wedges, the 25-year-old uses three; TaylorMade Milled Grind 3 with a loft of 50° and 54° degrees and the third one is a Titleist Vokey SM9 Wedge with 58°–08M, well fitted with Aerotech Steelfiber i95cw shafts. The golfer has customized her Titleist wedges with her initials.

Currently, Korda’s putter is Logan Olson prototype with TaylorMade Golf Pride Pistol grip. Interestingly, Scottie Scheffler also uses the same putter. Before the 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational, Korda used Scotty Cameron Special Select Squareback 2 prototype that provided her optimal balance. She relies on TaylorMade TP5x golf ball and her gloves are by TaylorMade. Her apparel on the greens is by Nike.
