‘Never Been a Supremely Disciplined Person’: Jada Smith Once Got Candid With Tiger Woods About Her Love for Golf

The 2019 Masters win of Tiger Woods had inspired the American actress Jada Smith to love golf. Until then, she has never been serious about it. Nevertheless, she has always found that the sport has helped her bring discipline into her life. 

“I’ve never been a supremely disciplined person,” Jada Smith said to Tiger. She was sharing how golf helped her in life with Woods on the Golf Digest show ‘A Round with Tiger: Celebrity Playing Lessons.’

“And you know golf really brought that component to my life,” she added. “Because I never had to work that much.” 

The 2021 Daytime Emmy Award winner Jada Pinkett Smith is an American actress, television host, and singer-songwriter. Her filmography includes popular films like ‘Menace II Society’ and ‘The Matrix Revolution.’ Since she showed an interest in performing arts from an early age, her family had provided her with piano, tap dance, and ballet lessons.

Apart from her career in the entertainment industry, Jada Smith is a successful entrepreneur. She has her own fashion label named ‘Maja.’ Furthermore, Jada is also a shareholder of the NBA team Philadelphia 76ers. 

Jada Smith has done too much as part of her career. However, according to her, it is golf that brought discipline to her life. 

Tiger Woods shared the origin of his resilience! 

“I am always fighting. I’m always like trying to get better.” Woods explained to Jada Smith when she asked about where his resilience comes from. “That’s all I know,” he added. “I feel like I’m never out of the fight in that regard. I’m always like pushing.”

Woods has always had to overcome barriers in his life to become a successful golfer. Even before he had turned professional, he had surgeries on his knee to remove two benign tumors. In 2007, Woods had ruptured his ACL and still managed to win five tournaments later, including the PGA Championship.

Furthermore, the golfer won the 2008 U.S. Open with an injured leg. From 2010 onwards, his back problem began to haunt him. He had to go through multiple surgeries and spent a lot of time away from the sport. Yet, he was able to win championship titles, including the 2019 Masters.

Lately, Woods has been recovering from the accident he had in 2021. The accident had caused him deep injuries to his leg.
