Jon Rahm’s LIV Golf-switch rumors have gathered such pace that even Paige Spiranac, the golf influencer, who is no longer directly associated with the professional sport, thinks that it’s a done deal. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Rahm is about to ditch the PGA Tour to join the Saudi-backed breakaway league for a staggering $600 million and Spiranac has added fuel to the fire.

Spiranac is a self-proclaimed fan of Rahm. Earlier this year, after the Spaniard had won the Masters, Spiranac had offered her congratulations via a post on her X handle, predicting many more Major wins for the World No. 3. She had also called Rahm the best player on the PGA Tour. So, like everyone else, she is also keenly following the developments.

Paige Spiranac believes in Jon Rahm’s LIV rumors

Spiranac, who couldn’t quite make it as a professional golfer, writes and comments on golf, and has her golf channel on YouTube. She was asked about Rahm’s rumored switch to LIV on Apple’s The Girls are Back podcast. The 30-year-old spoke with a certain degree of finality.

“So reportedly, that is around $600 million. This has been rumored for a while now. And even though no one has really come out and said anything… One way or another,” Spiranac said.

Some of Rahm’s fellow professionals, too, have spoken about hearing some unconfirmed reports. Spiranac mentioned that, “We had Jordan Spieth recently saying that he has also heard these rumors. And I think that is something that’s really interesting…”

To put things in perspective, Rahm’s name is missing from the PGA Tour’s American Express player field. Before that, he pulled out of the indoor TGL venture, set up by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. But unlike some other pros, who had been pretty candid about denying or confirming LIV speculations, Rahm, so far, has been tight-lipped on his future.

“… when there were other rumors going around Collin Morikawa, for example, he came out quite quickly and said, ‘I’m not going to LIV’, as well as a couple other players,” said Spiranac, adding: “So for it to be crickets on Jon Rahm’s side does seem like this is not a rumor and it is happening. And big, if true.”
