Paige Spiranac Once Made an Honest Confession About Golf

Beloved ex-golfer, Paige Spiranac, is an internet sensation now, with over 3.5 million followers on Instagram, which is more than any prominent golf celebrities on social media. After resigning from golf, she started teaching golf online on her YouTube channel. Not just this, she has her own podcast named ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee,’ where she shares her experiences about both her personal life and the happenings of the sport in general.

But, once Spiranac made a confession on her Twitter account and it was surprising to say the least.

In 2016, Paige Spiranac took to her Twitter handle and shared her true feelings about golf. During her career, she had to face many difficulties and controversies surrounding her before she took an unending break from her golf career as a profession. She still displays a shot here and there for her social media content.

During her golf career, Spiranac won five tournaments in seven tries on Colorado’s junior golf circuit. She also won the 2010 CWGA Junior Stroke Play and was on the path to becoming a top-20 junior player in the world. 

However, she retired from the sport because she was unhappy with her game mentally. While talking about golf, she tweeted, “Golf would be so much easier if I could just hit the fairway.”

After her tweet, golf fans crowded the comments section with their views. Some were sarcastic, others were supportive, and some weren’t agreeing with her.

Some people had their own questions, and asked her if she had ever played with a rookie. One of the follower expressed that his game was in the 19th hole.

This was not the first time when she had revealed her true feelings about the sport that she used to play. She has always been vocal about her feelings, which often times tends to land her in the controversies.

Limelight surrounded Paige when people opposed her presence in the Dubai Ladies Masters, because she couldn’t make it to the top 1000 female golfers. They believed they invited her only because she had a huge following on social media, (she had about 1.5 million followers then). She bravely took a stand for herself and justified her presence. All we know is that this bold voice will keep writing her heart out on social media and will keep expressing her true feelings in the future.
