Paige Spiranac was named the second most influential female personality in the golf world in 2022. She also surpassed the GOAT, Tiger Woods, in matters of Instagram followers. Her popularity has reached across the globe. However, despite her various achievements in the golf world, a fan recently called her out on her skills. No, it is not her golfing skills being questioned, but something more bizarre and unexpected.
Paige Spiranac owns her mistake
The golf beauty recently posted a video titled, “Let’s talk about how to grip that putter!” She was in a blue crop top and shorts, holding a putter. She was explaining the grip techniques and said, “I’m here to show you how to grip your putter. First off, we have the traditional, so what you’re going to do is put your left hand on, and then your right-hand fingers here are optional.” She further kept on explaining the tricks in the 50-second-long video.

However, the full video dedicated to the putter grip did not see the putter. It was barely visible in the video. Therefore, a fan pointed it out and, while joking about it, he asked, “I thought this was about a putter. Why is there no putter in this video?” The putter was cropped out of the video, and you could only see the handle. But this did not bother the former professional golfer. In fact, she owned her mistake and said, “The cropping kills me! Click on the video to see it full screen.”

The 2018 SI swimsuit model has way more followers than the great Tiger Woods. They both are important entities in the golf world. However, the race of followers was won by Spiranac last year. She has over 11 million followers across all social media platforms. And she is paid way more than Woods for every social media post. Therefore, it is obvious that the fans expect her to be on point while uploading the posts. But Spiranac has owned her lacking, and she will work on it. Probably, next time, we won’t see anyone calling her out.
