He was recently asked what he thinks about his experience in 2022. This was during an interview at the DP World Tour Championship. He said, “Hopefully people can stop telling me that it was a bad year. Three wins worldwide, three wins in three different continents, yeah, it wasn’t a major championship but it’s still a really, really good season.”

Jon chose to shut the critics up by talking about his great experience this season. He talked about the many wins he secured this year and how it was definitely not a bad year.

Rahm talks about why he prefers the PGA Tour over LIV

Jon Rahm should be the go-to person for anyone trying to find reasons to support the PGA Tour in comparison to LIV Golf. The skilled professional’s long history with the PGA Tour and the DP Tour are just starting points of his argument.

Rahm touches upon the major reason why most players are making the decision to move to LIV Golf and why that is not viable for him. The money that comes with LIV Golf is huge, we know that. For most professionals, money and format associated with the Saudi-backed league are the primary reasons to make the move.

However, that is not something that aligns well with Rahm’s way of thinking. He stringently criticizes the format followed by LIV Golf and values the legacy that has been created by the Tours.

He said, “I consider the PGA Tour has done an amazing job giving us the best platform for us to perform. I do see the appeal that other people see towards LIV Golf. Part of the (LIV) format is not really appealing to me. I want to play against the best in the world in a format that’s been going on for hundreds of years.”
