The younger Woods is competing in a tournament this week, and Mr.T is supporting his son diligently. The picture shows how dedicated Tiger Woods is to his son’s career. It appears that his fans share the same concern too. Most of the comments under the picture were for Charlie Woods.

Father-son duo back on the course again

A post from the X (formerly known as Twitter) handle TWLEGION shared a picture of Tiger Woods with Charlie during his practice. The Florida High School State Championship is currently in progress. As per reports, Tiger Woods seems to be on the bags for his son during the tournament. 

With Tiger’s repeated appearances on golf courses, caddying and otherwise, the hope and expectations for his comeback spiked steeply. With January approaching fast, the 15x major winner is expected to play in his TGL, with the 23 other players in the league.

Charlie Woods is reportedly performing well in the ongoing tournament. His 78 on round one, and a specific chip shot he played are being widely talked about. Notably, the way he celebrated it with a fist pump into the air and a “Come on let’s go” have reminded fans of Tiger Woods.

Fans worried about Charlie Woods’ education

The comments mostly focused on whether dads may caddy for their sons in state championships, and also on whether Charlie is missing out on his education. There were some comments about Tiger Woods as well. 

Several fans thought Charlie had got ‘Phil Mickelson calves.’ While such comparisons are usually debatable, this one seems quite popular. Three different comments iterated the same idea.

A curious golf fan pointed out how Charlie was wearing FootJoy shoes and Nike socks. They wondered why Charlie wasn’t wearing Nike since some reports cited fit issues as the reason for Tiger Woods ignoring the brand. For the unversed, Tiger Woods and Nike had a long-standing partnership that had faded away in recent years.

A well-informed X user commented that Charlie could be practicing for the final round of the Florida High School State Championship. 

Another fan agreed that it is the State Championship, but also called the post untrue. They pointed out that State Championships don’t allow parents to be caddies for their children.

The discussion continued as one fan considered the possibility of a change in rules and asked if the other kids have dads as caddies.

A sarcastic X user sighed at how there are going to be 2000 more posts about how he (Tiger Woods) is walking well. It is true that there have been quite a few posts about Tiger’s minor health updates in the recent past.  

Well, reportedly Tiger Woods is caddying for Charlie Woods. Perhaps there have been changes in the policies. But whatever the case is, it’s nice to see the father-son duo on the golfing greens.
