Phil Mickelson Delivers Perfect Response to Fan Claiming Tiger Woods Deserved to Win $40M Pip
Phil Mickelson, after his brilliant 2021 on the PGA Tour, won the Player Impact Program (PIP) set up for this year. It is a new initiative by the tour for players to attract more players to the tour, for a total pool of $40 million. Notably, Mickelson, at 51, seems to be doing exactly that.
Of course, legend Tiger Woods remains in the race, finishing second to Mickelson. Just like when they were younger, their fans remain slightly at odds, continuing to comment and debate on Twitter.
To no surprise, Phil Mickelson was his own witty self, causing banter.
