Retired golfer turned social media sensation, Paige Spiranac, recently spoke about the same and made a few bold comments about a famous golf professional turned commentator, Sir Nick Faldo.

The 29-year-old social media sensation talked about the same in the latest episode of her successful podcast, Playing a Round with Paige Renee. Spiranac loathed Sir Nick Faldo’s commentary along with her co-host Amanda Rose. Both the individuals talked about the announcers covering last week’s PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club.

Paige talked about how she was bored by Jim Nantz’s and Faldo’s commentary during the intense playoff between Justin Thomas and Will Zalatoris. She also pointed out how people don’t speak up about the commentary, despite its importance.

Paige Spiranac has some bold words for Sir Nick Faldo

Spiranac said, “But speaking of commentary, I was so bored by Nantz and Faldo. It is this insanely intense playoff, I mean, even that with Mito on 18 into the playoff, it was insane. And they’re over there just like yep, ‘JT hit a great shot on number 17 in the playoff.’ I am like, ‘JT just hit like the shot of his life and drove this green.’ I’m like, ‘What are they doing?'”

She added, “But they’re like, untouchable. Like people don’t even really talk about it. And it’s like this should be discussed. They’re like reading f**king lullabies when this playoff is happening, it’s like, I want to feel the excitement. I want to feel the passion through you.”

Justin Thomas emphatically won the second major championship event of the year in an epic two-man playoff. He ended the regulation play with an overall score of five under-par. As a result, the American professional forced a playoff between him and Will Zalatoris. Thomas carded a final round of three-under-par, 67 to finish on the top of the leaderboard.
