Adding their name to the likes of Wells Fargo, this recent decision by Farmers Insurance has been rather shocking for everyone in the golf world. The title sponsor of the Farmers Insurance Open is the second company to pull back from the Tour.
This happened after the new CEO of the company, Raul Vargas, took charge. It is common to see changes in top leadership reforming how a company allocates its marketing funds, but pulling back from being a title sponsor of the PGA Tour is definitely a huge decision.
